I've got a new boss

Well, technically, my boss has a new boss. You may have seen this in the PI.

It is a very bittersweet day for me. It's bitter in that I am really sad to see Bryan retire. I've had the pleasure of working with/for Bryan for over a year and a half. Bryan is one of the main reasons I came to work for Zune. I personally approached him about the project and he really took me under his wing. He's been a fantastic boss and I have learned an incredible amount from him. He's extremely passionate about this space and has motivated all of us by his example. While I'm sad at his departure, I am happy he'll be able to spend some (well deserved) time with his family.

With the bitter comes the sweet. J is going to be my new "big" boss. If you've read my blog, you'd know I think the world of J. If we have to lose Bryan, you couldn't find a better replacement. It is going to be fun injecting a new perspective into our business plans and I'm sure I'll have lots to talk about in future blog posts.

I personally feel incredibly lucky to have worked with Bryan through the Zune launch. There are very few places I could work and get that calibre of business leader and personal friend. Bryan, I wish you all the best in your new venture!
