I've heard from a lot of people that the Zune Marketplace feels much faster in Vista. I agree this is not "scientific" per say but if I hear that 10 people out of 11 say its faster, I'm inclined to believe it!

The SuperFetch caching is probably going to result in a much faster UI experience in the Zune software in general. As time goes by and it self-optimizes, performance may improve even further!

Well I'm sure that SuperFetch helps but I have a funny feeling that part of what is making the Zune client load faster is that the media player 11 libs are loaded already. I have no proof of that of course just speculation.

I don't know about home premium but I am using ultimate (thank you work discounts) and it supports domains. You would need to build a server to act as the domain controller though because I think Vista can't do it (will have to wait for longhorn I guess).
