BillW, I thought you or one of your associates would be blogging here more often. Is your primary goal to establish new business partnerships with the aim of getting more accessories built for Zune? What other areas are you involved in? You've stated before that you been travelling alot. How receptive have vendors been to Zune? Are a large percentage of them already manufacturing iPod accessories?

Bill, must be disheartening to see Real's Rob Glaser make a comment like this on PlayForSure: "PFS is a legacy system that Microsoft abandoned when they went to Zune." With the Clix2 Rhapsody, Real and iRiver "picked up the mantle of innovation that MS chose to abandon."

Who's doing a better job partnering? Real has...
1) Enabled streaming of their music library on Tivo devices
2) Enabled streaming of their music library on Sonos devices
3) Partnered to develop Rhapsody dedicated devices
4) Merged with MTV/Urge and now able to piggyback on MTV marketing

I want Zune to succeed but what has Zune done lately? One of the big gaps I feel is that Media Extenders have not taken off. If TVs & DVD players had Media Extender built in we'd see more integration points/cross selling opportunities for Microsoft's entertainment ecosystem. I'd be curious to get your views on this.
