OT: I think you've also got a winner with the new Zune 80. When the first Zune was released there were an enormous number of negative comments at Amazon.com and even the positive reviews were deemed unhelpful by a large number of people. The story with the new Zune is completely different. The majority of comments are extremely positive and they have been considered helpful by nearly all of a surprisingly large group of people.

I do hope it will be released on this side of the pond before too long. The 8GB is going to cost me a small fortune before this eBay auction is over.

BTW, I know there are a lot of negative comments about the new Zune software at the various fan sites. I don't know what they are on about. I downloaded it yesterday and think it's excellent. I introduced around 1000 albums with no problem whatsoever (A note: I am manually managing the music). It's extremely intutitive and does everything I ask of it apart from dragging and dropping album art onto covers.

I know this should probably go into the "open forum" thread, but I just wanted to say how pleased I am with the new radio tuner. It is literally the first of its kind that doesn't completely suck. The music comes through clearly, and the movable broadcasting unit is a nice touch if not killer feature.

I really want to commend whoever designed this, as it has renewed my faith in FM-based transmitters. On the same token, I'd like to be able to upgrade the plate in my gen1 dock. I like the design much better, and I'm not quite ready to spend the money on a brand new dock, so I was wondering where I could get the alternate faceplate that would allow me to use my Zune80 (I know from experience that the faux-chrome is removable.)
